  • White Paper

    The first white paper in a series of three, titled, “The Status of Adolescent SBIRT and Implementation in Colorado: What We Know and Why We Need to Know More”. The white paper covers:

    • The importance of Adolescent SBIRT and special considerations for SBIRT and adolescent substance use during and beyond COVID-19.

    • Areas of focus for improving and expanding adolescent SBIRT practices, including; Strengthening adolescent SBIRT advocacy and implementation work throughout the state, carrying out a state-wide assessment of current adolescent SBIRT practices via provider surveys, and seeking and integrating youth input.

  • Adolescent Survey

    Current Project: Adolescent SBIRT Survey: Assessing the Landscape of Adolescent SBIRT in Colorado

    NORC at the University of Chicago is working with Peer Assistance Services, Inc. to

    • Finalize and disseminate a survey to health professionals in Colorado

    • Design and conduct key informant interviews with identified stakeholders. NORC will collect, monitor, and analyze data from the survey and key informant interviews and summarize the findings

    NORC at the University of Chicago is an independent research institution that delivers reliable data and rigorous analysis. PAS has partnered with NORC in the past, most recently on a project to expand the SBIRT model to include suicide prevention.
